About AllKitly

AllKitly is a growing collection of free online tools built around a simple idea: the small, everyday tasks that interrupt your work should not require an account, a download, or a subscription. You should be able to open a page, get the thing done, and move on.

Why we built this

Anyone who works with documents, images, or code runs into the same small friction points over and over. You need a quick word count for an assignment with a strict limit. You need to merge three PDFs before emailing them. You need to shrink a photo that is too large to upload. You need to convert a heading to title case, or check what a JSON payload actually contains.

The existing options for these tasks are often frustrating. Many require you to upload sensitive files to a stranger's server. Many bury the actual tool under sign-up walls, watermarks, or aggressive upsells. Many are slow because every action requires a round trip to a server. We wanted a set of tools that simply work.

Everything runs in your browser

This is the part we care most about. Every tool on AllKitly is written in client-side JavaScript, which means the processing happens on your own computer using your own browser. When you drop a PDF into our merger, that file never leaves your device. When you compress an image, the compression happens locally. We do not have a copy of your file, because we never received one.

This design has a practical benefit beyond privacy: it is fast. There is no upload wait and no download wait, and the tools continue to work even if your connection drops after the page has loaded.

What you will find here

Our catalogue spans text utilities such as word counters and case converters, image tools including compressors and format converters, PDF utilities for merging and splitting documents, developer tools like JSON formatters and hash generators, and a set of everyday calculators covering everything from loan repayments to date differences. Each tool lives on its own page so it loads quickly and does one job well.

Free, and how that works

All tools are free to use with no account required and no usage limits. The site is supported by advertising, which lets us keep the tools open to everyone. We aim to keep ads unobtrusive and never place them in a way that interferes with using a tool.
